Del Rio Southern Pacific Railroad Depot

Located in Del Rio, TX. The Del Rio Southern Pacific Railroad Depot is a historic train station which is eligible to the National Register of Historic Places. Built circa 1930, it served as the transportation hub for the Sunset Route which traveled from New Orleans to El Paso. The project received federal funding through the Texas Department of Transportation and was subject to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Scope of work included a window conditions report, coordination with the Texas Historical Commission and TXDOT, and coordination of the Section 106 Review.
